Hi everyone,

Just to say last night I went to my first AS meeting ever. I had to run away a bit quickly as I had to go to work afterwards, but I will say - they seemed like a lovely friendly bunch of people - who only gave me a few odd stares as a 20 something woman walks into a room to listen to talks about this starry science stuff!

And I look forward to going again next month! Fingers crossed we will get a clear sky or two before my next meeting (she says looking at the rolling mists).
