I sometimes have to give myself a kick. I usually respond when I see other members welcoming posts to a new member.

It can be difficult to catch them all, because they are joining at a terrific rate in spasms I feel. I often wonder whether an automatic response to a new member, on behalf of all SGL Membership would not be a fair Idea. Those who wish to respond personally could still do so.

May sound a bit impersonal doing it that way, and on second thoughts I don't like it either. :nono:
