Telrad and Motofocus

Just ordered a Telrad finder because I can't get on with the one supplied with my 9.25" Celestron - it's inverted for starters and the scope isn't.

I've also ordered a Motofocus as I'm cheesed off with wobbly views while focussing

The Telrad is great. Very intuitive to use. I just admit that I was not prepared for its appearance though. It looks bit like a prototype in development! But it works and it's not expensive.

not much luck with the Motofocus yet. I was sent the wrong one for my scope and am now awaiting the replacement

Congrats on your purchases Kerry! I use both on my C8, I don't get along with the Celestron finder either

I like the motofocus, I got it to help out the 8SE and it does improve the situation, but it's no substitute for a more sturdy mount.
