Orion Nebula on webcam

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on the settings on sharpcam for me to see Orions Nebula using the xbox webcam. someone was good enough to give me the settings they use for jupiter which worked perfect! i havent a clue what im doing with the settings so any help would be very much appreciated

To start with I would leave everything the same as for Jupiter but just increase the exposure. You may however struggle as Jupiter is much brighter. Only other thing you can then do if you don't get anything at maximum exposure is increase the gain.
