Dew/storage question

Hey Guys,

I was wondering about this because my telescope is stored outdoors. Dew forms when the scope is completely cooled (if im understanding this right), so when my scope is stored as it is (upright with the covers on, in a brick shed outside) I'm guessing dew will form? I may be wrong but I was wondering if this happened and if it was a problem etc?

Dew will fall onto an exposed surface so your cover would get damp but not the scope, if you suspect dew might form on the scope then store it level so that the mirror stays free of it and with airflow to help dry it off.

Yes, make sure the scope is well wrapped up. I've heard some people use silica gel as well.
