Vixen Refractor. Finder Scope Help.

Recommended Posts

That looks like a nice older Vixen SP102

The finder mount that is on there is on backwards but you want to replace it so that's not an issue.

The last one of those I saw had a flat plate where the finder mount is fixed to your scope and they had added a standard Skywatcher-type finder shoe to the tube. That does involve drilling a couple of holes in the tube of course.

Hi John. That is the only way i could adjust the

finder scope, was put it on the wrong way round. At least

i know what shoe fits it now.It is a very old Vixen SP102.

The front lense, is a big old lump, with no coatings.

I dont no how old it is .I use it as a grab & go

scope.Thanks.

Steve.
