Guiding problem - Starlight Xpress Costar

Hi all,

I had my first try at guiding about a week ago and got some reasonable results as regards guiding - the images were rubbish!

Had another go last night and I could not get the thing to guide at all. At first the guide star would move about a bit then a few minutes later it would be well off centre.

Tried swapping N-S and E-W but didn't seem any better. I only waited a couple of minutes before aborting because the guide star seemed to be drifting off.

I'm running the costar software not PHD.

Any advise would be welcomed.

No one uses SX software as far as I've gathered - I don't. Try PHD
