Attending SGL8

It is a good event with plenty of friendly people to talk to.

Unfortunately not there for this one, but am looking to try and make the next one - just depends on dates. I'm also in your neck of the woods, have you found any good dark sites to observe from? I'm still using the back garden, which is ok, but not exactly a dark sky site.

Hi,

It is difficult to find dark sites with some car parking in the Herts area.

I have one place that may be suitable for one or two cars near Hemel, but I need to check it for light

pollution, the nights have been miserably cloudy so far this year.

I went to SGL 8, the weather was cold, frost, snow and heavy rain one night.
