Cable extension for Synscan

As I am new to astronomy and the forum, forgive me if this has been discussed before !

I bought a Synscan and spent lots of time picking if out of the dirt because the cable seemed to be too short. I noticed it was a RJ45 connection or Ethernet. I had an Ethernet cable supplies when I got the broadband hub (with BT) and bought a connection from Amazon for 68p and it seems to work fine all be it that it is not coiled the whole length. The connection came from the link below with quick delivery etc. Hope this is helpful to someone - Chris.
