Comet Holmes - Larson-Sekanina Filter

Certainly produced a strange result.

The donut feature might be an artifact.?

PS - never used this filter before therefore no idea about the settings

So far I have only found it in MaximDL and AstroArt V4 ( might be in V3)

The filter is supposed to show radial effects near the comet nucleus.

Its things like halos , spiral structures , shells etc near the comet nucleus.

I'm taking the laptop out tonight, so that I can get lots of images without having stay within a few feet of the scope with the IR remote.

I'll see if I can get a final image good enough to search for these effects...
