Telescope suppliers!

Does anyone know if there are any Telescope shops in Scotland? i have googled it and all i get is Argos!?? it all very well looking at pics and i cant make any Astronomical society doos so a shop that has them would be nice....

You might have to grab your passport and take a trip to North Englandshire, there are quite a few there.

The Galloway place is the astronomy centre at the Galloway Park, not sure if they are "retailers" of any sort.

Have a look at the Observatories section here on SGL and there is SDSO = Scottish Dark Sky Observatory = Galloway Astro.

Recently someone from here (I presume) landed the job of managing the place.- Rob.

Suggest before travelling that you send him a PM asking if they have amateur type equipment to look at, or if there is an observing night with a local club that you could get along to.

"Scope Shop" link in the left column goes to buying advice and a selection of scopes with prices, so I assume they do.
