No Asteroid but who cares :)

Having had a long downtime without any Astronomy due to the weather and family issues. I was eager to take a look at 2012 DA14 but like many others was clouded out whilst it was at a reasonable magnitude. When it finally cleared it was gone Eleven and it was on the limit of my binos, so couldn't find it. Alas no DA14 but I managed to get a look at the Auriga clusters M36, 37 and 38 and also Juipter, M81 and M82. It was good to connect with the sky again. Thanks DA14 for at least getting me out

Yes, it was lovely here from about 10.00 'til 2.30. nice to get out there
