vixen scope opinions

Recommended Posts

i'm seriously considering buying a vixen vmc110l , i'm looking to concentrate my efforts on lunar and planetary webcam imaging, with a little wide field straight off the dslr lens AP..

does anyone have opinions about the ota , it has a switchable double eye piece and i thought one for webcam and one for viewing , but will i get good enough images with the smaller aperture,

i'm also wanting a goto and auto track mount and have been very interested in the three low end ioptron mounts..]

i'm leaning towards the 1st one as it has eq option and alt-az is it suitable for this scope,

i know the second one actually shows the vixen on it but i dont want that to swing my opinion ,

the third i'm not a big fan of eq mounts but i dont think is that big and looks a bit sturdier ..

basically is the scope any good for what i want to do and what would be the best mount to put with it..

i will eventually get myself a big dob for DSO viewing so i'm happy to just do planets and wide field for now..

ok the scope might be changing as i'm in the bracket of £200 so which of the three vixen ones would better for wecam AP

r130sf newtonian , a80mf refractor , or the original option vmc110l,

and which of the three mounts to pair them up with...
