ED80 V 200P DS

Having both scopes the ED80 and the 200P DS I have used both for Astrophotography without FF/FR or a CC, I'am finding that the 200P DS is offering better results as they come. Question is which is going to give better results once I have purchased a FF/FL or a CC

If your using a DSLR then you should use the fastest imaging scope you can possibly afford, DSLR's like fast scopes and produce excellent results from short subs through bright tubes...

In our Lancashire skies I'd use the 200P unless you can dig deep and get a fast posh refractor..

There's no doubt that the only DS images from DSLRs which approach CCD (and some do) come from very fast optics.
