Copying a PC programme

Hi All,

I have Celestrons "The Sky" on my main PC and would like to copy the programme onto the laptop, but don't seem to be able to do this, any suggestions please?

Hi Trudie, depends what you interpret as copy. Most programmes require a proper installation, merely transferring it across to your laptop will not suffice. dlls need to be registered, and device drivers have to be installed, copying will not perform those tasks.

In other words, you need the original CD, DVD or downloaded file which you used to install the program on your PC. Without that, it's not possible.
