false colour

Hi there,

Could somebody let me know the process of adding false colour to a white light image.

I have seen solar white light images which look yellow / orange, which look much nicer.

I won't get into the Colour vs Mono debate though . . .

Once I have a mono image more or less processed, I open 'levels' and select each colour channel in turn. I set the middle value for red to 1.7, green to 0.7 and blue to 0.2. This seems to give quite a vibrant colour.
