my friend austin has given 2.5 hours worth of data to process from his new QHY8L now this is the first time i have ever process CCD data, im struggling with the stars even with a star mask am i doing something wrong? how do you stop them from going blue? i used 2 steps of noels actions to increase star color (may have over done it) he has the same circle graidents had which went when i coverd the back of the scope up so i think he will have to do this aswell.

details of the data and what i have come up with so far they i process them in cs6 seems to leave the image looking harsh and rough, would it be better using pixinsight ?
