SynScan handset

Hi

I have had to change my SynScan handset due to problems, the old one had ver: 3.27 firmware but the new one has ver: 3.25, which I think is an older version. The new one powers up and seems to work ok indoors but should I update the firmware and is this likely to messit up?

I need it for stargazing live event tonight. Cheers for any help..

I cannot speak from experience as I've never done it before but updating the firmware doesn't look too difficult.

The link attached (hopefully!) will explain the process.

If your current version is working then I would stick with it for today and upgrade tomorrow.

Upgrading is straight forward but things can go wrong (usually pilot error) and if you need it tonight then sods law says it will.
