Sysscan + Stellarium + Android

Guys

I am looking for some advice. Is there any way to marry up Stellarium with an Android phone for GPS details via Bluetooth.

I can control My scope very easy via Stelaruum . But just wondering is there is a way to benefit from my android phone as well. Looking to do this so i don't need to part with any more cash.

Any input would be great.

I use BlueNMEA to interface my phone with EQMod am my lappy has Bluetooth built in. Can't see a reason it wouldn't work with Stellarium as its just a virtual Com port.

Do you need to be rooted to run this application

Not that i'm aware.

If that doesn't work you can try Bluetooth GPS Output app which does much the same thing.
