rowan46
I hate using my glasses to read with whilst observing and was thinking of getting a kindle paperlight covering it with a red cover and using it for starcharts. I have noticed that Turn Left At Orion is out for Kindle. Any other good astronomy books for Kindle, especially ones with good starcharts?
mattyr123
I have a kindle but avoid any books where the diagrams are important. As good as the kindle is for reading books, they haven't got the diagrams right yet. Have a look at the reviews for TL@O on Amazon from kindle users. Stu
Unless they have changed, the kindle which I have doesn't have a backlight so you wouldn't need the red cover, just a red torch to shine on it. Far better than using a mobile but obviously just limited to books, not appsStu
