Very Pleased Tonight

So it's New Years eve and I've already ticked an object off my 2013 imaging list, M31. I've been out tonight (since I can't be arsed to go out anywhere else) with the camera in my back garden. After a few months of trying to get this, I finally got an image of M31. Here it is:

And although neither of them are on my 2013 list, I managed to get a black and white image of Jupiter with the M45 cluster. 2 Messier objects, 1 night! I shall post this second image in the reply section as I've already reached the upload limit with the first photo.

I fell confident now in starting my quest to image the other objects in my 2013 list and am eager to see M31 through my scope!

Happy New Year everyone! Have a good one and see you in 2013!
