It's a nifty reflex sight designed (and greatly succeeds) in aiding you finding objects in the sky.

It essentially "projects" 3 circles into the sky so you get your target into the middle and bang, it's in the centre of your scope.

They're fantastic!

Sounds like exactly what I need - as a Newbie I need all the help I can get. I'm going to order one today. Are they a universal fit - I have a Skywatcher 150P

Yep, it just sticks on with supplied sticky pads. Or you could just tie wrap it on.

I see Amazon has a thing called a TS Optics TELRAD Zero Magnification finder at £57 . Is that the sort of thing I want?

Yes, but that seems quite expensive.

Around £40 is normal.

I am taking your advice and ordering one today. Unfortunately FLO sold out but I will shop around to see if I can get one cheaper than £57.

That and TLO would seem to set me up nicely now that I have mastered the dark art of polar alignment .

I dont use TLAO as much to find my way to objects (i use telrad maps for that) but i stil use it as its shows you what you can expect to see, which is brilliant when your scanning around the area and dont really know what your looking for lol.
