Loose barlow Lens

Hello,,just received my barlow and i was holding it,it seems the lens part is a bit loose when screwed togetter,it moves a slight bit if you hold it 1 way then when turned the other way it moves,,,its an omni 2x,,,,the slightist shake and you can hear it moving,,i know they unscrew, can you screw the lens of the barlow and screw in on to an eyepiece instead of putting the hole barlow in

You can unscrew the bottom lens part and screw into directly onto an eyepiece, yes. It effectively makes is a 1.5x barlow. You can also double the length of the tube by using an extender to make a 3x barlow.

I can't help with the rattle tho, but it's sounds like a loose retainer clip.

Is it the actual glass lens that moves or the barrel?. If its the glass lens then you should be able to tighten it up with a small twist of the retaining ring on the inside.

It's the glass lens itself,,the barrel is tightened enought,,,maybe i could insert something between the lens and the barrel,,as you said like a clip

Will follow this discussion with interest as my revelation barlow is doing the same thing. Got it off EBay so suspected I had been sold a duff one, but if it can be fived that would be good.
