Lodestar Black band

Hi peeps

Im getting this black band at the top of my PHD window it takes up about 25% of the window when

using my lodestar, when replaced with an eyepiece its not there, I am using it with a diagonal BTW.

Any ideas??

Hi, I've seen that with my Lodestar when it didn't get enough power - ie too long USB cable - or simly using a low quality one - or bad connection. My solution was to add a powered USB hub and make sure the connection was good in each end.
