Hi just a quick question, i have just download IC Capture from the IS website, the version i had installed that came with my camera is V 2.2.342.1337 AS & the version from IS site is at the moment is V2.2.345.1381 what does the AS stand for ?

AS is the astronomical version. For astronomical TIS cameras you should use the software from http://www.astronomy...port/downloads/

You can also use FireCapture

I never knew that, I'll have to check that out and see what version I have as I just downloaded straight from TIS.

Cheers Rik glad I asked after all as I guess I have put the wrong one on as it was on the download page for my ccd

I wonder what the difference is? and would it make a great deal of difference... it is, after all, only capture software.

:-) that's what i was wondering as well............what is the difference anyway, what do they do differently ? i'll stick to what works i guess until further notice.
