Anybody else see this as darker to the west of the GRS and paler to the east?

I think what you're seeing is the turbulent wake of the GRS as a lighter area.

If you look at this image I took on Sunday evening you'll see that I mean.

It's not the most crisp and clear image but seeing as visually the moons looked like spiky amoeba on speed it's surprisingly good.

I thnk you are probably right. GRS has rotated further across the disk and the SEB to the east is showing a lot of structure.
