Sharpcap Histogram

Hello,

I've seen on some tutorials that you can adjust sharpcap settings until the histogram looks "right" for webcam imaging of jupiter?

Whilst I have got a new camera on the way I know that I could have achieved better with this asda webcam. I don't think I have ever correctly exposed it.

I'm gonna have one last shot at jupiter with this webcam later tonight...can anybody help me understand what I should be seeing on this histogram to know it is correctly exposed?

Thanks,

Dan

Thanks! I'm assuming you want to keep gain as low as possible?

I ordered one of the Point Grey firefly's cheap on ebay to have a play with for the meantime.

I'm going to have a shot at merging colour from my asdacam with the point grey one. The firefly looks incredible for lunar also.
