Finder & Brackets for a WO Megrez 72 - Suggestions

Hi folks,

I am looking for any suggestions for getting a finder onto my Megrez 72; I have previously been using a cheap dot finder that I have stuck on with pads, but it's not that great. The subtext here is that I don't want to spend tons of money, as things are a bit tight at the moment, so any budget suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks. CW

I have the same 'scope and had the same dilemma. I bought a white Sky-Watcher finder mount from FLO and drilled a single hole in it's centre. This then neatly bolts onto the Megrez's collar as below. A Standard Sky-Watcher or more exotic finderscope can now be simply installed:-

Thanks Steve, sounds like a good idea; FLO seem to be out at the moment but I spotted this one http://www.365astronomy.com/skywatcher-shoe-for-finderscope-bracket-p-2451.html which I assume is the same. Thanks again
