Jupiter 18/11/12 - on DSLR

At the end of my session I stuck the DSLR on in video mode as a test. The first thing you realise is how large the sensor is compared to a webcam. I had to use a 3x, 2x, and another 2x barlow (12x al together?!) just to get Jupiter at a decent size. The image deterioration with all those barlows must be significant. Especially since they included some of my old cheap barlows.

Anyway here you go..

have you noticed the moon just peeking out from behind jupiter on the webcam image? the dslr image looks crisper, I would replace one of the barlows with a 2x converter stuck on the front end of your camera, they are way higher quality

Did you also notice the moon the the dslr image? Moved a little further out.
