canon 650d

I've decided it bite the bullet and get myself 650d question is it worth getting the STM lense bundle or the normal IS bundle, I mean does the STM lense have any use in AP?

I wouldn't have thought so. The stm lenses are aimed at folks who wanted a usable lens for video production. I would get the body only and a decent lens for astro. I don't know what lens comes with the IS bundle but, Image stabilisation is of no benefit to you when the camera is on a tripod or mount. and should be turned off.

Of course if you have a use for it during the day then thats fine.
