Cone error on ADM bars

Hi all

I recently replaced my SkyWatcher dovetails with ADM bars. Although they're lovely, it doesn't seem to be possible to correct cone error on them. They don't have threaded holes for corner screws to do so.

Does anyone know a way i can achieve this? There's no room to pad it with a nut so i seem to be at a loss as to how to deal with it.

I use a few folded bits of paper slid in between the vixen and the adm before I tighten up the clamps to bring mine in to line.

I have a few ADM parts in my collection. Dual mount and single bars. Never had any alignment issues.

I suspect the build accuracy is such that scope fov is bigger than machining errors.

Or the scope build errors are bigger than the machining errors.

For example in a newt, the optical and mechanical axes may not be aligned.

Maybe a thin piece of shim material if you find errors? A nut is a BIG correction.
