Celestron Luminos EPs

How do people rate the Celestron Luminos EP range? I was looking at the 7mm EP in particular.

There doesn't seem to much info around on these yet, perhaps 'cos they're new. I think they've replaced the Axiom LX range.

Meanwhile, there's lots of praise for Televue Naglers and Skywatcher Nirvanas. In terms of price, it seems the Luminos sit somewhere in between.

There's a review of the 7mm Axiom LX on the Sky at Night website. As the Luminos was just a name change from Axiom LX, the review applies to both eyepiece ranges. Here's a link:

fredster - I saw the sky at night review, one of the reasons they caught my eye (pardon the pun). Have you, or anybody else here used one?

I haven't used one sadly, i have one of its competitors, the ES 82 series.

I have used the axiom 7mm and 15mm - to be honest there's not much difference between these competing brands of UWA - could even be made in the same factory! The meade seems to be the best value at telescope house though.
