A little more Sun in Ha 10-11-12

Hi,

Nice and sunny all day and mostly clear at night, just a little cloud now and again. I spent around an hour between 12:00 and 1pm taking the full disc and a couple of 2x shots in Hydrogen alpha. There was a lot of nice surface activity, but the proms were fairly dim.

Full disc picture first, 1200 frames stacked from 2,300 in Reg5. Lunt 60, DMK41, 0.8x FR

the prominences were large but faint, I didn't even see them until I really cranked up the exposure.

Thanks Alexandra, the surface detail was really good yesterday. I took some pics of the proms with a 2.5x Barlow and had to crank up the exposure to 1/9th of a second. I have stacked them but haven't processed them yet.

I seem to be loosing detail in the false colour images again, probably doesn't help doing them at midnight whilst I am waiting for my night time pics to stack.
