Equilibrium & A Hair Drier?

Hi guys my scope lives outside in my obs so its pretty much at equilibrium which means i can just get started rather then waiting for my scope to cool down.

Last night i was out and a bit of dew started to form so i gave it a quick blast from the hair drier and sure enough it vanished but then it occurred to me Am i changing the equilibrium of my scope because I'm blowing hot air at the end of the scope?

You are, but not by much i wouldnt have thought, and any how, without the blast of air your obs session would have come to an abrupt end

Being within 2-3 degrees is fine and won't noticeable effect views. A quick blast like that isn't going to heat up your optics to the core, just a bit on the surface that will most likely dissipate within a minute or so.
