carl zeis 10x50

Does somebody know if Carl zeis 10x50 jenoptem is a good binocular? What is the difference betwen jenoptem and dekarem 10x50? Thanks

I have owned a pair of 10x50 Jenoptems for years. they are very good indeed. the only problem is that they are a bit on the heavy side but Quality is fist class. My dad owned a pair of Dekarem 10x50 years ago before I had mine to compare, but I always thought the Dekarems were a bit brighter. I can`t be sure tho` it may be that the Dekarems were the first really good class binos I`d ever looked through and the memory stayed with me. Don`t have both to compare now I`m afraid.

If you get a chance to buy either you wont regret it. Especialy if you get the later multi coated models.

I think the Dekarems had better coatings.

They were both identical spec.
