I was just browsing when I came across this thing. Never seen one before so I have no idea how good it is or whether this is a good price. In fact I can't really say whether it is a good buy or anything. But I thought it may interest some of you. Let me know if it is a load of poo though as I honestly have no idea.

It's basically a Meade 4" SCT I think. It's in the USA too so it's going to be costly to get over here.

Thanks John, it just seemed to be one of those things that might be of interest to somebody. Like I said I nothing about one of these. But I was curious how useful it would be to Astrophotography. It looks like a bit of a jack of all trades. Curious as to how good it would be.

Well effectively it could work as an F/10 1000mm focal length telephoto lens if you attach a camera body to it. Could be useful for wildlife photography though a stout tripod would be needed.
