...Thirsk and Easingwold in North Yorkshire?

I'm going to be staying in a cottage along the York Road (A19) in a few weeks' time with my family, so wonder if I'll have much chance of getting a decent "Dark Sky"?

Google Maps goes down to Street level, you can drive along the road and around the area your staying at, spotting street lamps, night golf courses ect ect....

That is a great map, thanks for the link. Looks like the sky where I will be, will be pretty good compared to Lancing!
