Chance would be a fine thing- further testing of the e2v CMOS imaging chip

Since returning to the UK from Spain a week ago it's done nothing but rain. Apart from a very brief interlude last Saturday night, the weather has been most unco-operative to say the least. I hope to resume testing the e2v NIR camera on both a ED127 refractor and the C11 in a variety of configurations.

The camera runs very happily on Torsten Edelmans's FireCapture v2.2(beta) and delivers a SER file in 16bit mode. It's a 1280x1024 monochrome USB3 device with both Global and Rolling shutter capability with extended Near Infra-Red response. I shall try to post some results as soon as the weather relents.

Of course its clear when you dont have your gear or you cant use it. Hope it clears up soon for ya. Will be interested in hearing the report.

Its been a very bad year for clear skies so far lets hope it improves for the latter half
