the new skywatcher multi function mount

hey guys, received this months S@N mag and i noticed the new SW mount on the back page, the all view. has any one had a go of one of these or reviewd them (members really i want to hear off) as FLO's site dosent really say anything what so ever about it apart from its name and a photo and id rather not bother look at the sw site as its not really a unbised page

thanks peter, i found the thread litterly straight after i posted this, but i have noticed not every one goes into FLO's section of the forum so other people might be able to help who havent seen it.

Not sure i really see the point of it. If aimed at cameras and video then surely a Astrotrac would be far more beneficial being EQ as opposed to Alt-Azimuth. Not sure i can see and way of polar aligning it either.

i dont think the full on astrophotography is its main forte but pano shots, which move slowly over the pass of the night. i would imagine its going to be the same as a az goto mount, the only difference being its designed more for a camera than a scope but astro pano shots..... do sound really good

One of the features of the mount is that it can be programmed to start tracking from a certain point to another point over the course of a set time period and take photos with a digital camera over that that same time period.
