t-rings and Dob 200p

I have been reading about t-adapters ... from my understanding it goes camera -> t-ring -> telescope with no camera lens or telescope lens being used at all ... correct?

I have a Dob 200p and if I currently remove the telescope lens and just look directly into the telescope I can see the cross made of the 'spiders legs' which hold the mirrors. ... if I go with a t-ring on the above will the camera see these spiders legs? or some how do they magically disappear?

That is called prime focus photography. But it's camera -> t-ring -> t-adapter -> telescope. The t-ring should be for your brand of camera.

One thing to keep in mind - you may not be able to achieve focus in your camera using this method. It may require you to move your primary up the tube.

You use the t-adapter on the focuser, you need to unscrew the 1.25" barrel and you'l see it. A normal t adapter will be too high profile and prevent focus.

You wont see the spider cross, they'l be focused out the same as when you use an ep.

You will be restricted to short 10-20 second exposures to stop star trials unless you plan to place your Dob on a EQ mount.....
