EQMOD and GPS

For those of you that use EQMOD to drive your mount, you may be interested to know that the Novus Rider GPS speed camera warning device is compatible with it:

And this warns you of the great orion speed trap? sorry couldn't resist, its discontinued now that novus as is its successor, as most satnavs warn of the same thing.

The EQMOD GPS routine simply reads the GPS unit's NMEA strings and scans for the latitude/longitude/altitude/hemisphere/UTC time values. so you just need a cheap usb dongle like this really
