White light Sun, 18th September

Tricky today, not because the sun hasn't been about, but because it's been hard to get a decent run of images as the clouds whipped past. Ended up ditching 75% of those frames I took and even then stacking was a nightmare. Anyhow, 30 of 120 frames stacked, 1/1000th @ ISO 100.

Here's hoping that the forecast clear sky for tomorrow makes life a little easier.

Very nice!

I spent this afternoon indoors looking out at the clear skies! I eventually got the telescope out and no sooner had I gotten the sun on APT that the clouds rolled in and that was that

I was right down to the wire because I was determined to get out and get some imaging done today. My last few subs were obscured by the leaves of the trees that the sun was sinking behind
