OK, I'v been convinced that the RGB was the key so I'll hit the luminance for all we've got in the long focal length version. Thanks Maurice, Peter and others.

Well, it certainly takes a long time in the UK! Nights of clear skies seem to be very rare here I've had to diversify my activities a bit or my AP addiction would drive me bonkers
