Electroluminescent panel on eBay

Dose anyone know if this would be a good panel for use in acquiring flats?

Would it be too floppy; would it need mounting in a frame of some sort? Is it better to buy a dedicated panel rather than a generic one like this?

It might work for a small telescope. It would need to be mounted in a frame or trapped between a couple of sheets of clear plastic to stop it flopping about.
