Hi and welcome to SGL, that is one very nice aperture scope you have acquired for a start, to broaden your horizons on the subject, books like Turn Left at Orion and The Back Yard Astronomers Guide come highly recommended, a pair of binoculars or just your own eyes with the help of the free program Stellarium, will help you learn the night sky, enjoy the forum :)
