Where do i point?

Right so, after wasting/spending my hard earned money that i'd been saving slowly over the course of five years on a new Tak FSQ85, and buying myself a QSI with filter wheel etc, and after being shot dead several times by my partner who thinks that i can do AP with just my eyes and a ball of string; i'm finally ready to get out there for my first nights AP. Have any of you guys got any suggestions at what i should be shooting at tonight?

How about andromeda?

Well if you have Stellarium on you laptop, take a look at that and move your mouse to a point above the horizon and click, hit Ctrl 1 and your mount should head for that point. If you don't like that then there a few million other targets you could go for
