Blue snowball

Use Stellarium, or Cartes du Ciel. They will show it. I tried skEye and found it nice, but a bit limited. My 8" picks it up easily, but note that it is much smaller than the few planetaries in the Messier list (M27, M57, M76, and M97). These Messiers are not the most typical planetary, because no astronomer in his right mind would ever confuse them with a planet. The Blue Snowball is more typical: a little blue-green disc very reminiscent of Uranus and Neptune. This is why Herschel coined the phrase "Planetary Nebula".
