keep losing liveview screen?

Hi all:

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced the following?

I'm using a dbk21 and ic capture as 2.0. Using yuy2 and rgb 24, no problems imaging trees swaying in the wind a couple of blocks away. however, when imaging the moon, the liveview screen invariably disappears (though it shows that liveview is running). It's a bit frustrating and am wondering if there is a fix for this...possibly a new usb cable...or...?

Would it be that the moon is too bright and it is closing the shutter down, just a thought.
