Rubber Cover removal from C8

Hi All,

I should soon be getting a Starlight Instruments Feathertouch focuser for my C8. Just wondering how easy it is to remove the rubber cover from the existing focuser as it looks pretty solidly attached?

It just slides off, but takes a firm pull to get it moving.

BTW the FT is a great upgrade for the C8. Makes focusing so much easier.

Think I've seen the C8 version but the back looks exactly like my C8 (with the triangular back) in this version.

You need the CPC version not the C8 version.

Gave the Widescreen Centre a call this morning (sent them a photo of the back of my scope) and they assured me that they'll be sending me the correct version so we'll see when it arrives!
