Today I finally got a chance to spend a good bit of time with my PST & DMK camera & I'm very happy with todays results. I've managed to get more detail than before & I even managed to capture a few prominences as well this time.

I can't wait for my Stage 1 PST mod to arrive this weekend so I can get even better pics!

Both images were 400 frames stacked with registax 6.

Any comments on how to improve them further are very welcome.

Thanks for the compliment & also for the tip about imerge.

I downloaded it & had a go at making my 1st mosaic. Its not perfect but I'm pretty chuffed with it as a 1st attempt!

Excellent

It is a pity about the difference in brightness between the pictures giving joins. You could also try Microsoft ice as others have found this can work better. Lots to try and lots of fun
